Valve Stem Material On Americana Tire Wheel Combo
Question:
I have read that the valve stems on load rated E or higher should be steel and not rubber due to the additional psi. Does this combo use steel or rubber?

The valve stems used on the Americana ST225/75R15 Radial Tire, part # AM32680, are constructed of steel reinforced rubber and rated up to 100 psi. Steel valve stems are recommended when buying tires that have a requirement over 100 psi, so with the psi for this tire at 80, you should have no problem with the valve stems.
