Is Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller Compatible With Curt 7-Way Wiring on a 2018 Honda Pilot?

I was wondering if the trailer brake controller listed below is compatible with my Honda pilot and the CU86FR wiring harness I recently installed? Pilot did not have the factory tow package and I installed a 2 hitch and 7pin harness myself. Yes, the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 will work when connected to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU86FR on your 2018 Honda Pilot. This controller uses the input from the brake lights going to the trailer to send power from the charge line circuit on the 7-Way to the brakes.

You might also consider the Curt Echo In-Line Bluetooth Brake Controller # C79DR if you prefer to not have to remove and store the Echo device above when not in use. This plugs in behind the 7-way so there is nothing to remove when disconnecting the trailer.
