There is not a specified temperature range for the Brake Buddy Classic 3 # HM39494. I ran this question by the folks at Hopkins (Brake Buddy) to double check. The Brake Buddy unit will work in really any temperature/condition you would experience while flat towing around the country. An approx. temperature range would be between about 0 and 150 degrees F.
If you are towing in extreme temps (like death valley in the summer) it may not hurt to leave a window cracked in the towed vehicle, just to keep the inside of the car from getting too hot. Other than that there is really no real-world scenario where you would experience temperature related issues with a brake buddy unit.
