Can Swapping A 16K Reese Hitch Head Out With A 20K Hitch Head Increase The Capacity

No, the 16k assembly isn't compatible with the 20k assembly so you wouldn't be able to just swap out the head to increase the capacity. The center section and legs also have 16k ratings so you'd be overloading them even if the heads were interchangeable. The only way to get a 20k capacity would be to get an entirely new hitch, like the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928.
