How Does Prodigy P3 Brake Controller Install in 2022 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2022 Tundra SR5. The OEM brake controller is acting funny and seems to be a mounting issue with 2022s. I cant have a finicky brake controller. I need to purchase a Tekonsha P3. I would like to use a model specific cable as well as finding out where the factory connector is on the Tundra SR5, can you help me with this? If not I’m going to have to do a manual install like i did on my 1999 GMC that worked flawlessly for 9 years. Thanks

There isn't a custom install harness for the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 for your 2022 Toyota Tundra so you would need to wire it to the current wiring that your OEM controller is wired too and unfortunately you'd need to make a trip to the dealer to have the computer flashed as well.
