4-Way to 7-Way Adapter to Install Brake Controller 2023 Toyota Highlander

Question:

4 -way to 7-way adapter for 2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I already have a 4-way connector on my Highlander already and would like continue to have that capability as well as 7-way. What adapter and corresponding brackets do you recommend? Also, which brake controller and corresponding connectors do you recommend? Thank you in advance for your help.

The 7-way adapter you need is the part # ETBC7 which converts your 4-way to a 7-way and also has a 4-way on the side of it so you'd have both connectors like you are wanting. This also comes with everything needed to wire in a brake controller as well.

For a brake controller I really like the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR as it only puts a small knob on your dash and uses an inertia sensor to determine how hard to apply the trailer brakes.
