Troubleshooting A Dead Battery With An 2021 Chevy Equinox And Brake Buddy Classic 3
Question:
Even with the charge kit, the battery on our towed car 2021 Chevy Equinox when dead after towing only 170 miles. It started up and ran fine when we reached our destination but this morning the battery was dead.

If you reached your destination and your Chevy Equinox started up fine but then would not after sitting overnight then you have something draining the battery that needs to be shut off when you're done towing. The charge line only transfers a charge over to the towed vehicle battery while connected to the motorhome. If you left the Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494 plugged in the entire night it could've drained the battery even though you weren't towing.
