Will Roadmaster # RM-1109-168 Anti-Sway Bar Reduce Body Roll of 2003 Tahoe Caused By Cross Winds
Question:
My tahoe does not drive well in windy conditions. I have had alignments done and my front end checked. Will replacing the sway bar help?

Expert Reply:
An anti-sway bar is designed to help prevent body roll whether it be caused by turns or by cross winds, so it would certainly help in your situation. Taller vehicles like your Tahoe are more susceptible to cross winds due to the large surface area of the side of the vehicle. You did the right thing by having your alignment and font suspension and steering components checked. If you haven't already, you might also have the rear suspension checked in order to rule out any possible problems there.
The # RM-1109-168 Roadmaster Anti-Sway bar you referenced is indeed a fit for your 2003 Tahoe, as long as it is a 1500 series with the coil spring rear suspension. You can view the installation instructions by clicking the provided link.
