Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Has Brake Output Voltage but No Screen Display
Question:
I bought a Tekonsha POD from you that no longer shows any light on the LED when connected to the trailer harness. Here are the voltage readings on the hardness Black wire : +13 VDC White: Ground, 0V Red +13VDC when brake pedal pressed, 0 when not. Blue trailer disconnected: 2.5VDC when pedal is not pressed. 5VDC when pedal is pressed. Varying the knob on the controller or pressing the reset does not change anything. Is this controller working? As I said, the LED light on it does not illuminate green like it did before to show trailer connected. Regards

Based on what you've tried so far it sounds like your Tekonsha POD brake controller has somehow developed an internal problem and is in need of replacing as there's no fix for it. It does seem like it works on some level but the screen is broken which could be a loose solder in the controller or a bad circuit board.
Easiest solution would be to go with a new controller like the very reliable and great performing Prodigy P3 part # 90195 that you referenced.
