Does Yakima FullBack Trunk Rack Have Weight Restriction When Used in Anchor Mode
Question:
Somewhere on the etrailer website, I read that when using the anchor modeinch to fasten the Yakima FullBack 2 straps to a 2017 Hyunda Ioniq requires that the total weight of the bikes cannot exceed 60 lbs. instead of the 70 lbs. otherwise. The Yakima customer support doesnt seem to be aware of this limit. And would you not recommend more than 60 lbs. total?

I am not aware of that restriction either but I can say that if Yakima (the source) says it's for sure not a thing then you can use anchor mode with the Yakima FullBack # Y02634 and it would have the full 70 lb capacity.
