Will The Access Tonneau Cover Work On A 1996 Ford F-250 With Plastic Bed Liner
Question:
I have a 1996 Ford F-250 HD with 8 ft bed and Factory bed liner. I also have retractable cargo tie-down rings purchased from etrailer last year installed in the bed rail. I ed the Access Original soft, rollup tonneau cover specifically because: 1. It seems to allow installation over existing bed liner 2. It appears to leave top of the bedrails exposed so that I can still use my cargo rings 3. Claims that it requires no drilling or bed modifications and connects to the truck bed via the existing holes used to attach the bed liner. Id just feel better if youd confirm for me that all this is, in fact, the case and that I should have no particular problems installing it on my truck. Thanks very much, Mark

The Access Original Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # 834532000012 would require access to the inner lip of the bedrails, which looks blocked by your bed liner, based on the picture you provided. You would need to cut spaces in the liner for any cover to be able to mount. This cover does sit inside the bedrails so it would leave space for stake pocket mounted tie-downs. No drilling would be required to install this cover as long as there's an opening for the clamps to attach to the inner lip of the bedrails.
