Torque For 15 inch Aluminum Trailer Wheel With 1/2 Inch Bolts
Question:
what is the maximum torque you can put on a 1/2 inch -20 airstream wheel stud without damaging the stud . 15 inch aluminum wheels 6 lug wheel? 2002 airstream I hear that at some point the stud would yield and stretch. I wouldnt think at 110 ft/lbs torque it would damage it. Please let me know. Thnaks

For 1/2 inch bolts on 15 inch aluminum wheels like the Aluminum Liger Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 # LH49FR the torque is 90-100 ft. lbs.
