Can 5k Powered Trailer Jack be Powered Through Trailer Junction Box
Question:
I have a 20ft utility trailer with electric brakes. Can I wire an electric jack 5000# and power it through the junction box on the trailer?

If the junction box has a 12 volt accessory circuit that is active yes you could power a trailer jack like the Stromberg part # JET-5000 which has a 5k capacity with it. In order for this circuit to be active on your trailer though the 12 volt accessory circuit (1:00 pin) of your 7-way would need to be active or there would need to be a 12 volt battery on the trailer.
