Replacing/Upgrading An Equalizer 6-1/4" Long And 4" Tall

Question:

I have a 2012 Arctic Fox. 35 inch axle spacing. The original equalizer is 4inch hole to hole tall and 6 1/4inch hole to hole long. Would the 8,000# Dexter ez flex work? I see its 1 1/2 longer and 1inch shorter. GVWR of trailer is 10,700#

I can certainly point you in the right direction. When replacing an equalizer we want to keep it as close to the stock size as possible. There is a small amount of tolerance, but not much. The Dexter easy flex # K71-653-00 i'm afraid is going to be too big to fit correctly into your suspension.

If you want to do an equalizer upgrade, I recommend the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer # LC696740. This measures 6" long center hole to center hole, and 3-1/4" tall. This will be much closer to the stock equalizer and will provide cushion and shock absorption. It can be used with virtually any axle rated 3,500 lbs - 8,000 lbs.

We also have the standard equalizer # TREQ458 which is exactly 6-1/4" long and is 3-1/8" tall. This should be pretty close to what you have now.
