Youll have to remove your gooseneck hitch to install a different system so here are the kits youll want to pair together: Demco UMS Rail System - Underbed Rail and Installation Kit for Demco UMS # DM8551005 - Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550037 - Demco UMS Series Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # DM5988 Reese Integrated Underbed and Gooseneck - Reese Elite Series Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # RP30158-52 - Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550038 I personally like the Reese system better because you just need the gooseneck hitch ball to tow a gooseneck hitch instead of a whole adapter. The Reese kit is also the same as a Ford OEM puck system which is why the Demco Autoslider is different. If neither option is appealing to you there is another alternative with the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 which installs on your king pin and changes it to a gooseneck hitch ball connection, but this only provides 7-1/2inch offset so it will be a bit shorter than what the Demco Hijacker can provide. expert reply by: Jon G I took this info and was chatting with someone else from this site. They told me the correct PN for the Demco for my truck was DM8550035 which actually appears correct but then told me the recommended Reese hitch RP30158-52 would not work with the Demco slider when it appears that it would. Can you clarify?
