The Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR is a vent-free design and is equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Safety shutoff device that ensures the proper amount of Oxygen is in the living space, and it won't allow the unit to switch back on until the area has been properly ventilated. I'm not sure what this means for the burned propane but I can say that this has been tested and approved as safe to use inside.
