Can Power Sonic RV Lithium Battery PS44FR Work with BIM 225 Isolator
Question:
I have a 2022 Jayco Precept motorhome and need to replace the house batteries. I would like to replace the current AGM battery with the lithium battery #PS44FR The coach currently has a Battery Isolation Manager: Precision Circuits BIM 225 Will this protect my alternator from damage, overheating? Thank-you

Yes, the BIM 225 will protect your alternator from damage like it was designed to do with the Lithium battery part # PS44FR you are interested in. Lithium batteries do need to charge at a higher voltage so you would need to make sure your charger has a Lithium profile.
