Troubleshooting Brake Controller Showing Voltage When Brakes Applied
Question:
When I apply the brake the displays hows 10 then right to 0 this cant be normal I havent hooked up to a trailer yet just confused because it should light up the number you have it set to

I am not sure what brake controller you have so it's hard to say exactly if what you are seeing is normal. If it's a time delayed brake controller it's not out of the ordinary for the voltage to run up with the brake pedal applied if you aren't moving. But typically this is due to corrosion on the connector tricking it into thinking a trailer is connected so clean the pins of the 7-way and that problem should go away.
