Larger Hitch Option for a B&W Companion Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

Hello, My truck currently has the BandW Gooseneck Turnover Ball installed. I want to keep that setup. I have the BandW Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch that is rated for 20K lbs. We are going to be upgrading to a new fifth wheel and the dry weight is 21k and GVWR is 24k. What is my best option for a 24K fifth wheel hitch that will work with my BandW gooseneck? I don’t want to convert the rv itself to gooseneck, I was to use a fifth wheel hitch. Thanks!

Since there is not a higher capacity Companion that is available for the Turnoverball, your best option is to instead use the Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches # DM6140 which will drop into the Turnoverball hitch hole, and will serve as an excellent mounting point for a bigger hitch like the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16265.
