My Step Extends When I Close My Door And Switch Does Not Work What Can I Do?

I’m having the same can’t figure it out steps goes out when clos door from inside and step switch won’t work

It sounds like your switch may be wired incorrectly and/or your door magnet is reversed. Please refer to the diagram below to see how to correctly wire your switch.
