Gooseneck to Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for Towing Truck with CM Car Hauler with Recessed Ball
Question:
I have a cm hauler bed with a trough design, not just a square recessed hole. It has a welded ball. Looking for a 5th wheel hitch that will couple directly to the ball and hopefully sit down in the trough. Prefer at least 20k capacity. Thanks!

For that style of recessed gooseneck hitch there isn't a fifth wheel hitch setup that will work so what you would need to do is use a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter like the Convert a Ball part # CAB-C5G which attaches to the pin box of your trailer and provides a coupler for the recessed ball you have.
