Correct SumoSprings for 2021 Grand Design 240RL

Question:

There is a lot of discussion on a Grand Design forum about putting sumo springs on 5th wheel campers but I do not see Grand Design or Reflection as an option when using your web site. Am I doing something wrong? 2021 Grand Design 240RL. Springs are on top of the axle Thank you

Sometimes we don't have parts listed if we don't have the information required in our fitguide. You weren't doing anything wrong. According to Grand Design the 2021 240RL has 4,400 lb axles. Since yours are overslung the correct part is the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket # TSS-107-40.

These are designed for 3,000-5,000 lb axles and require 5-5/16" - 6-1/2" of clearance between top of spring plate and bottom of trailer frame. I'm sure you see these discussed a lot because they're a great option to help improve stability and reduce sway. They're especially helpful with trailers that have heavy slideouts like your 5th wheel. They also don't require any maintenance once installed and come with a limited lifetime warranty.
