It sounds like you have a setup like the Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel # AM30000. This tire 16.1" tall and 4.6" wide. This particular wheel has a 2.5" pilot hole on the wheel. If your tires are held in place with coned lug nuts like the Lug Nut # CE11051 this means your hubs are lug centered and you can switch to a larger pilot hole diameter without issue.

The Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13" White Wheel # AM3S030 is our largest wheel and tire with the 4 on 4" bolt pattern. This wheel has a 2.65" pilot hole with the tire being 24" tall and 6.6" wide. You will need to ensure you will still have 1" of sidewall clearance with the larger wheels and tires as well as at least 3" of vertical tire clearance for the suspension to compress as well. If you can tell me how much clearance your tires currently have I can help you verify if the tire will fit or what other size would better fit.
