Can the Yakima EXO System Be Adjusted Vertically

Question:

My questions are about the Yakima EXO swing hitch cargo carriers with the warrior on the bottom and the enclosed carrier box on top: 1. It is noted in your comments that there is aboutinch 18 inches of clearance between the top of the warrior carrier non-enclosed rack to the bottom of then enclosed cargo carrier box in that set-up which would work best for me. I need the aboutinch 18 inches to be on the 18 1/4 inch side of about. Is there enough play between the two upper and lower mounts to get that extra 1/4 inch I need? 2. Can you tell me if they started to include the master control key so the lock cores can be installed without ordering the key separately. They include 10 locking cores but no way to install them. The key you need is only $10.00 and sounds like an oversight by someone who packaged the kit. For the $2075 I would think this is something you would include either way, right? 3. Last question I read in a comment regarding a Ford Transit Class B camper installation that the person removed a pin that keeps the swing from coming back towards the closed position so he could open the door all the way he included a picture. The pin is easily removed and reinstalled, right? I have a 2020 Pleasure way Ford Transit conversion. Thank you.

There is not any additional vertical adjustment for the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage # Y44ZR however you might be able to cheat out a quarter inch.

The lock cores should already be installed on this system so it's not going to include the control key # Y8007835. If this system did not come with the lock cores installed already, then that would've been an issue with Yakima's part assembly.

Lastly about the pin, yes it is a simple pull pin that is attached to the system so it's very easy to remove and put back.
