Atwood Model G6A-8E Replacement Water Heater Recommendation

I need to replace an Atwood model G6A-8E, Serial #96220179394. Its a 6 gallon water tank and the tank busted. What can I replace this with?

I recommend upgrading to a tankless system like the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR as these are more efficient and can produce much more hot water per hour (144 gallons per hour for the Furrion) than a standard heater like your Atwood.

If you'd rather stick with the tank style then the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR is what you want to go with, but it can only produce up to 12 gallons of hot water per hour.

If you haven't installed a water heater before it's best to have a licensed technician do so - this way we can be confident everything was done correctly.
