What Would Cause Intermittent Trailer Wiring Connection on Dash of Truck
Question:
I get a notification on my dash while driving that says check trailer wiring then trailer connected then check trailer wiring.. happens a few times in a row.. attached is a video

This is an intermittent connection between the trailer wiring harness of your vehicle and your trailer. This is due to corrosion or dirt on the pins of the connectors. So take some sandpaper to the pins on both sides of the trailer wiring and the problem will go away.
