Replacing 4,400 lb Axles with 5,200 lb Axles on 2013 Heartland Travel Trailer

Question:

Hello I have an axel that needs replacing. It appears they no longer make the 4400# axels from Lippert. I was looking at getting a set of 5200# replacements. However my measurements are 86.5 inches hub face to hub face, and 68.5 inches spring center to spring center, I dont see an exact fit. Could you help me out here? Thank you

Expert Reply:

For a replacement 5,200 lb axle we have the following options for you:

- Standard Trailer Axle Beam # e45GR
- Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR5200S01

The Timbren system gives you a better suspension and bolts onto your trailer frame while that standard axle would require you to have a welder cut off and then weld on new spring seats to match your trailer frame width.

I'm attaching some review videos for you to check out!
