What is the Offset of the Gooseneck Ball on Husky 25K Gooseneck Hitch # HT31368 for 5th Wheel Rails
Question:
I have a 2003 Dodge quad cab with the short bed and it has the Reese rails already installed. I wanted to know the offset of the ball so I can get that little extra space for my gooseneck trailer. It looks to be between 3-5 inches but I figured Id ask you guys. Also, what is your take on the quality of the Husky compared to the Curt and adapting to the Reese 5th wheel rails.

The Husky 25K Gooseneck Hitch # HT31368 for 5th Wheel Rails measures 24-inches long x 13-1/4-inches wide and the ball is offset from the center line by 3-inches. The Curt Spyder # 16085 has a centered hitch ball with no offset.
We also offer a comparable item from Curt, with the same weight ratings as the Husky. This is Curt part # 16055. The base on the Curt measures 12-1/4-inches wide x 25-inches long.
Both of these units are constructed comparably and share high ratings from all of our customers who have purchased them. Both carry a 5-year limited warranty and videos for both are provided for your reference.
