Troubleshooting Lippert Ground Control System that Clicks and Wont Raise/Lower

Question:

I have a 2013 Redwood 5th wheel trailer that has the LCI auto leveling. I went to pick it up and the leveling panel gave me a low voltage error. I turned on the generator and it raised the trailer enough to hook up and raise the front jacks. I arrived at my destination about one hour of driving and again got the low voltage when running the jacks down. I hocked to shore power and got the trailer unhooked. I pressed auto level, the trailer goes down but again gives the error “low voltage “. So, I replaced the batteries. Now with new batteries, I don’t get the low voltage code but it won’t extend or retract the jacks it just makes this grinding sound like a starter on a car when the battery is dead. What do I do?

That sound is also indicative of low battery power power. With new batteries that would make me think you have a terminal or connection between the battery and the system that just isn't tight enough. This is assuming the battery has a good charge on it currently.
