Hinge for Folding Nose of Trailer
Question:
Hello, I would like assistance in ing the appropriate hinge for my application. The application is we have a 200+ lb metal cover, which will be used to protect equipment. The only support the hinges have are the front lip of the trailer, where the hinge will be attached, and the braces/actuators, which will be holding the cover in the open position. We would like the hinge to be able to handle 2000+ lbs of force exerted on it. I have attached pictures with as much detail as I can think to include. Thank you for your time and help on this. Regards, Frances Bockhorst

While the hinge part # MA67ZR doesn't have a weight capacity it would pretty easily work for your application. I would just install three or four and they would easily hold up well.
