Is Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks a Good Fit for 2009 Carriage Carri-Lite 36SBQ

I have a 2009 Carriage Carri-Lite 40 yr anniversary 36 SBQ 36 ft 5th wheel with 17.5 inch wheels. I am upgrading to Dexter 8k axles. Currently the leaf springs are mounted under the axle. I am wondering if the Road Armor equalizer, shock kit or Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 8K, 3-1/2inch Axles Item # RM-2470-2580 would work on this type of axle mount, and what is the difference between the Blue and Yellow Road Armor Equalizers? The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks # RM-2470-2580 is a great option for upgrading the suspension on your 2009 Carriage Carri-Lite 36SBQ 5th wheel! The addition of the shocks not only helps with the up and down movement of your trailer but it also helps to limit the amount of side to side sway you see during towing (like when a semi passes you).

We've confirmed with Roadmaster that this system works both with overslung and underslung leaf spring setups but since you'll be getting new axles I recommend getting ones configured for overslung where the leaf spring sits on top of the axle - this way you don't have to be concerned about making sure the shocks don't sit too low.

The difference between Blue Lippert Road Armor # LC696740 and any yellow versions that you see is simply Lippert deciding to change the color. If you're referring to the Yellow suspension upgrades from Lippert, like part # LC279688, then that would be the Equa-Flex system. This also uses a rubber core but only on one side of where the shackles are connected instead above and below where the shackles connect like what we see with the Road Armor kits.
