Yes, the Valterra RV Awning Cleaner # V88542 will work to clean away mold on your awning. If the odor is a musty, mildew like odor, then it should disipate once the mold and mildew is cleaned off of the awning and it fully dries out.

1. Start by spot testing a small area of your awning to ensure you won't damage the material. Clear away loose debris and dirt. Then rinse the top and bottom of the awning.

2. Coat the area of mildew or mold with the cleaning solution and use a soft brush like the SM Arnold Bi-Level Vehicle Cleaning Brush # 38125-670; let it sit for the designated time frame listed on the back of the bottle.
