Recommended Kayak Carrier For An OEM Roof Rack On A 2010 BMW 3 Series

I have a 2010 BMW 3series 4door with an OEM roof rack. Would this kayak carrier be compatible with my rack and also is there any kind of t-slot adapter for this carrier to convert it from the clamp style? Thank you

Yes, the etrailer kayak carrier # e98878 will be compatible with the OEM roof rack on your 2010 BMW 3 series. BMW actually uses a Thule brand roof rack, which is known to be compatible. The clamps on the kayak carrier will fit virtually any crossbar up to 3-1/8" wide x 1-1/2" tall.
That being said, we do not offer any kind of adapter to convert the carrier to a T-slot instead of clamp style. If you want a t-slot carrier I recommend the Thule Hull-A-Port # TH849000. This is a similar j-style carrier that will install to the t-slots on your Thule crossbars.
