Does the Hydrastar Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Work w/ a 2016 Ram OEM Brake Controller?

Question:

Will this work with the in-cab factory OEM brake controller for my 2016 Ram 2500, 4x4 crew cab tradesman diesel? I did not see the Ram trucks listed as compatible or not. Ihave a Titan actuator on my other boat trailer and it works fine with my truck but they are a lot more expensive than the Hydrastar. If not, what would you recommend that is the least expensive? My trailer is a triple axle with disc brakes.

Yes, it will. The Hydrastar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes item # HS381-8067 you were looking at is compatible with the OEM brake controller on your 2016 Ram 2500.

Typically the only OEM controllers that had issues were the Actuators were the Ford and GM ones. The Ford and GM factory brake controllers have had issues with the Hydrastar actuators in the past but Ram trucks have always worked just fine.
