Do New Trailer Tires Need to Be Balanced
Question:
Should I have my new travel trailer tires balanced? If so, is it safe to have the weights put on the back side?

Trailer tires don't have to be balanced but you can definitely have a shop do it for you. I'm not familiar with the whole process of adding the weights, but the shop that does it will know if that's okay or not.
If you're concerned about the looks of your tires then we actually have some balancing beads you can add to your tires via the valve stems. I've linked our selection for you to filter through but a common one is the Counteract Tire Balancing Beads for Tandem Axle Trailers # CA83VR which fit the following tire sizes:
175/80-R13
185/80-R13
205/75-R14
205/75-R15
215/75-R15
225/75-R15
215/85-R16
235/80-R16
235/85-R16
