Mounting Options For Maxtrax Recovery Boards On A Ladder Rack  

Question:

Ive seen carriers for these before. Im looking for the type that bolts to the uprights of my ladder rack. Do you have a carrier that works with these? Do they lock? Thanks.

We have a few different mounting options for recovery boards, like the Maxtrax Xtreme Recovery Boards # MA74FV you were looking at, but they're a bit more specific to the style of ladder rack you're attaching to. Maxtrax offers pins like part # MA73PR and # MA83PR that can slide into a t-slot on a crossbar or platform rack. They have small holes to allow for locks like part # MA22PR to help prevent theft.

Rhino-Rack offers the # RR43159-RMTXMPS and # RR43235 which can also attach to a platform rack in order to mount your boards. Yakima offers the # Y01164, which can also slide into an accessory slot and has straps to mount the boards.

These mounts could also be drilled into the uprights of some ladder racks to secure them in place if you didn't have an accessory slot to mount into. If you want to tell me a bit more about your ladder rack I'd be happy to look for the best solution for your specific rack.
