Can 4.5 x 8" Tires Be Swapped Out With 4.5 x 10" Tires On An EZ Loader Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 15 ‘ boat trailer with 4.5 x 8” tires. Would 4.5 x 10” tires with 5 lugs fit on my EZ loader trailer ? . I do some highway driving and would feel more confident in a larger tire. Thank you ,

Since you're only increasing the diameter and not the section width you'll just need to ensure that you have enough clearance between the wheel and fenders for the 10" wheels to fit. You'll want to maintain a 3" gap between the wheels and fenders for suspension travel. If you find there isn't enough space then you can also raise the fenders higher to accommodate the increased wheel/tire size.
