Should Solera Slide Topper Have Equal Tension On Both Sides
Question:
When adding tension to a Solera 5000 136inch slide topper do I need to retention both ends? Water is pooling more to the rear end of awning. Can I just add more turns to that end only?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If the Solera slide topper was installed properly it should have equal tension on both sides. I would recommend removing the awning from the awning rail so that the tension can be released (carefully) and then making sure both sides are at zero wind it 12-14 times and you'll get equal tension.
