Battery Setup that Could Power RV AC Unit Over Night

Question:

I have a 2020 Heartland Cyclone with an on-board generator. What i am looking to do is setup my system so that i would be able to run one of my a/c units at night when i am boondocking during quiet hours. I would be able to run my generator during the day, but want to allow my a/c to run during the night on battery power. Would you be able to help me with what i would need to do this?

The biggest thing you'd need is a battery large enough to power the AC unit all night. Typically that's going to require at least 400 amp hours worth of batteries. For that you could run two of our Power Sonic Lithium Batteries part # PS64FR which are rated at 200 amps hours. AC units draw a lot of power which is why such a large battery would be needed for the duration of the night. Plus you don't want to fully discharge a battery regularly as that affects it's life.
