Troubleshooting Lack Of Power To DC Appliances With The Progressive Dynamics PD4045KA Power Center
Question:
I have installed the PD4045KA. I have A/C power and 13.6 V at the converter positive and ground lugs. I checked the reverse battery fuses and they are good. The reverse battery indicator light is not on or flashing. I have 13.6 V to the right side of individual DC fuse ports. No reading at the left side and when a fuse is ed, Im not getting any power to my appliances with the black DC wire connected and the white wire grounded to the frame. I tested the appliance by connecting it directly to the battery terminals and it works. Any thoughts? Is there any indicator flashing light that the DC converter is functioning properly?

If you're getting power through the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4045KA to only one side of the fuse then the fuse is the issue. The fuse is just a break in power so if only one side has power nothing is going through the fuse out to the appliance. I recommend swapping out the fuse with a new one and seeing if the issue persists.
If you get power on both sides of the fuse and still no power at the appliance then there's a break somewhere in the wiring between the fuse and appliance.
