Is Replacement Clear Film Needed For Thule Fairing
Question:
Do I need the clear skin/film for my Fairing? I got the four clear decals to stick on my roof of my old car and it worked well. I just realized at some point I have to remove those decals when I sell it will the tape come off easily without damaging paint? I just got a new car and want to use my Thule rack with the new car and I had a fairing and am wondering whether I need to install the clear film/decals Item # 853-5481 on my new car? Any complaints about not installing the film and the fairing scratching paint?

Helpful Expert Reply:
It isn't necessary to use the Replacement Clear Film # 853-5481 if you don't want to; there haven't been any complaints I'm aware of regarding paint issues. And the tape should come off easily with no damage to your paint, yes.
