Inteli-Power 4500 Lithium Battery Upgrade and Soft Start Kit for Dual Coleman AC Setup

Question:

I have a 2016 Genesis 34GS toy hauler. I want to make 2 upgrades. #1. Id like to upgrade to two 2 ea. 12V 100 AH SOK lithium batteries. I have a PD Intellipower 4500 panel with a slide in 75 amp converter/charger and will need a new lithium replacement section for the panel. What else do I need to protect my truck alternator from the batteries overheating it? Also, I want to keep 12V from the truck to the trailer thru the 7 way connector, I have the hydraulic brakes on the trailer. #2. My ACs. I have a Coleman 15.5 Ducted and a 13.5 Non ducted Id like to put soft starts on them and and possibly an RV AIRFLOW into the 15.5. I was considering the Coleman soft starts as they wiring should be plug and play. Any design suggestions and part numbers you can provide? Thank you

I'd be happy to help!

#1 - What you're looking for is the Progressive Dynamics Lithium 75A 4500 Series Inteli-Power Converter Section # PD4575LICSV for your converter. When it comes to charging and protecting your trailer and tow vehicle batteries you can either add a disconnect so you physically disconnect the battery bank, or you can add a smart charger like the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D that reads, adjusts, and maintains your trailer battery bank so it gets the best charge and your tow vehicle system is protected as well.

#2 - When it comes to the soft starts, the best option we have for you is the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Dual Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR44FR. We don't have any that are designed specifically for the Coleman brand (since we don't sell Coleman directly) so a universal kit like this is the next best thing.

It comes with everything needed for the installation (minus any tools) and I've linked a sample installation video for you to check out.
