Reese Elite Series Fifth Wheel Install Kit # RP30126 for 2013 Ford F250 Short Bed Diesel
Question:
In reading your description about the underbed mount , I need to be sure this part can be installed in my 2013 f250 Diesel Crew Cab truck? Also, I have a 2014 Grand Design 5th wheel Reflextion and may be hauling a 2014 Grand Design 5th wheel Solitude and need to verify The Reece Elite Series 18K pre-assembled 5th wheel Hitch with Slider will work. Thanks so much.

If your 2013 F250 already has the OEM Ford tow/prep kit with the pucks mounted in the truck bed, all you would need is the # RP30144 Elite Series Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch. The hitch would mount into the factory installed pucks in the truck bed.
If you do NOT already have the under-bed mounting system, you can install it using the Reese Elite Installation Kit, part # RP30126, which is the correct mount kit for your truck. Once the under-bed mount is installed, the hitch would drop right into the pucks provided by the mounting kit.
I have confirmed with Reese that the RP30144 rails are compatible with your truck. I would recommend determining how much clearance you will have between the rear of the truck cab and the front of the fifth wheel. You can do this by measuring the distance between the rear axle centerline and the rear of the truck cab. As a general rule of thumb, this distance needs to be 4 inches greater than half the width of the trailer at the front. The Solitude model you mentioned is a little wider than usual, at 101 inches. I highly recommend you take that measurement, so you will know what kind of turning capability you will have.
