Troubleshooting Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller Control Light Turning Blue When Pressing Brake Pedal

Question:

Hello, I have this unit installed In my Acura mdx 2015. Everything seems to be connected correctly, but I have a concern to my understanding the light should be blue at all times and when you apply the brakes the light should go red in my particular unit it seems to be doing the opposite when I’m hitting the gas it turns red. If I let go of the gas, it turns red if I hit the brakes it goes blue. If I let go of the breaks it goes red should I be concerned ??? It does sound like the red wire for the Harness # RED69FR on the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR is not connected correctly on your 2015 Acura MDX. You will want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to verify the red wire going into your controller only has power when pressing the brake pedal.
