Are Replacement Parts Available for a Tie Down Engineering LP8000
Question:
My boat trailer has a Tie Down Engineering LP8000 hydraulic surge brake coupler. Are individual parts available reverse lockout solenoid, or do I need to buy a whole rebuild kit? What about hydraulic brake lines? Thanks!

The Tie Down Engineering LP8000 actuator isn't something we have direct replacement parts for. While we do have replacement solenoids and rebuild kits for some of the actuators we carry, I have no way of verifying whether this will fit your actuator so I recommend replacing the entire actuator to something that's still in production so you can get replacement parts easier in the future.
For your application I recommend going with the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Drop and Electric Lockout # DM8750311 which comes with a 2-5/16" coupler and is rated for 8,000 lbs.
