Solution for Older Kwikee Series 39 RV Steps that Need New Gear Box
Question:
My series 39 step seems to have a different connection between the motor and this gearbox part # LC379161. Mine is from a 1999 step and has a gear type connection similar to Item # LC380073. Do I have to order a new motor as well? Mine is working fine so done want to order if I dont have too, also is there a complete assemble that would be cheaper than buying the motor and gearbox separately? What would be the correct motor to go with this gearbox to order if I have to order one?

Due to the age of your Series 39 step you would need to upgrade it to the current style which would require you to use the part # LC379769 which comes with a new motor, gear box and controller.
