Yes, it's very common for people to connect a jack like the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 to the 12v accessory wire of the 7-way cable on the trailer. You'll just want to run the wire to the junction box on the trailer and test for power to find the 12v accessory wire and splice in there. Make sure that you wire it in with the fuse close to this point to protect the jack in the event of a power surge.
