Recommended Slide Topper for a 153-1/2" Slide Out
Question:
looking at getting a slide topper awing, your in for says I should get a 151 wide, based on my 2016 forest river cedar creek. The measurement of my slide out is 153.5 edge to edge. I thought I needed an over hang of several inches. Is the 151 correct or not? \

For your 153-1/2" slide out you will want the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning item # LCV000168109 for black or item # LCV000163300 for white. These toppers fit slide-outs that are 152" - 157" wide and up to 48" long. You will need at least 7" of clearance on both sides of your slide-out box. The awning fabric is 157" wide so you will need 7" on either side of that.
The only reason you would get the 151" item # LCV000163299 is if you didn't have enough clearance on either side. I hope this clears up any confusion. If not feel free to email me directly with any additional questions.
