Correct Replacement Brake Assemblies For a 1997 Palomino Filly Camping Trailer Missing Brakes
Question:
I have a 1997 Filly polimino camper trailer. I has no brakes, single axel, R12. It has hubs that could take drum brakes, it has a drum, just is empty. The back plate fits on a 4bolt square to the axel. 70mm centre to centre. Do you sell an ebrake kit that will fit? Thanks

It sounds like you are going to need the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-2 for your 1997 Palomino Filly camper. This fits a 7" diameter drum with 1-1/4" wide brake shoes. The 7" brakes are the size which fit behind a 12" diameter wheel. This has the mounting bolt holes spread 2-7/8" on center vertically and horizontally which is about 73mm. The Mounting Hardware # BRKH7 is going to be needed to install these on your axle.
Do be sure to inspect your drum surfaces for both usability against damage or being out of thickness since the brakes are not currently installed. If you wish to replace them I will need you to tell me what size bearings and grease seal your current hub has so I can confirm the correct replacement hubs.
