Will K Source Universal Towing Mirrors Fit Far Enough Out to See Behind an 18 Foot Trailer
Question:
do they fit out far enough to see behand and side for a 18foot trailer?

Expert Reply:
It is hard to say due to several variables that are all different in any given towing set up including the vehicle being used, distance from the back of the vehicle to the trailer, mirror size, and many other factors. The bottom line is that the K Source towing mirrors # KS3891 are going to provide better visibility than the factory mirrors alone.
The K Source mirror glass will start at the outside edge of the tow vehicle mirror housing and the glass is 7-3/4 inches by 5-1/8 inches. This should give you a rough idea of the placement of the mirror and an idea of the increased visibility attained.
